This is The first Comment! Yay!
Came in with my family yesterday and was totally disappointed with the quality of the food. I personally ordered a lengua taco plate. I was given hard pieces of meat and fat. Everything seemed cold and no flavor. My husbands and kids plate was cold with no flavor at all. Chile relleno seemed seemed it had just been taken out of the freezer. I asked if they could exchange and they gave me a taco that only had lettuce and no beef. Totally not worth the $50 we paid.
Food was cold plate was hot but not the food over all food good
My family loves Jose’s restaurants. We always have the most pleasant experience and the food delicious. Today however, I do not think I will be returning. I went for lunch with my husband a little after 11:00 am. Our order was taken my Elena Z. who had a scowl on her face and appeared we were bothering her. She was very snippy and in an obvious rush even though there were no customers behind us. The thing that made this worse is I handed her my card to pay not knowing Discover was not accepted. Instead of handing it back to me and telling us that Discover is not accepted she tossed it in front of me and said I need a visa or master card. Because of Elena we will not be returning to Jose’s in Redlands. I hope that you will discuss this with her so that no other customer feels the way I did and most definitely remove her from the register. That is no place for her.
Please update your online menu to reflect correct prices. Also, when is the locality program coming out?
My family and I had the worst experience at the Moreno Valley location. After several mishaps I decided the staff must have been having an off day. I was going to ignore the issues until I entered the restroom. There are not enough words to describe the filth in there. Each table has a placard with a number to text with comments. I sent pictures (pictures don’t lie) and got an “ oh nooooo 🙈 I’m so embarrassed, I’m sorry and I’ll look into” text. Not very professional and explained why the employees were acting the way they were. #disappointment
The Moreno Valley location needs some serious help!! The restaurant was dirty to say the least. More than half the tables needed to be cleared and when asked by another customer why it was so dirty an employee said welcome to Friday nights. I could understand getting a little behind when it’s busy but this was beyond that. The tables around us didn’t get cleaned the entire time we were there. An employee was sleeping at a table on one of the benches ( I took photos) the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time (more photos) this was not the “Friday night filth” it was repulsive!! It’s a shame customers are so gross but it’s inexcusable that the restaurant left it that way. I text the number on the table with only two of the many issues we faced that night. The response with the little emojis I got back was even more ridiculous. The employees aren’t going to care if the management doesn’t care!!
We have frequented Jose’s numerous times through the years and always enjoyed the friendly service, fun “family” environment and food! That ended tonight as the environment we had to sit through with three drunk individuals who used every disgusting word repeatedly and loudly without any employee or management professional enough to intervene to protect the ears &dinners of others! They even brought ice cream an sang Happy Birthday to these people, then the drunks through the ice cream on each other! and the employees continues to serve more beer to these people? If they didn’t have an Uber that would be unbelievable! We called the on duty manager and he did nothing! What a worthless person! We will never be back and we will tell everyone we know about this less than desirable experience! Its not a place to take your family! I’m a senior citizen and cannot confront three young men in their late 20s early 30s in todays world they would have probably put me in the hospital while your employees and manager watched!
